ABOUT US
The Korean Law Students at the University of Sydney (‘KLUS’) was founded by a group of Korean law students with the goal of creating a close community of law students and supporting them to build relationships with networks in and out of the University.
KLUS has now expanded to become a multicultural society which welcomes and connects law students of all ethnicities and backgrounds.
Our mission is to build a close and supportive community of law students who can use KLUS as a platform to build industry networks and be exposed to various law firms and legal industry representatives.
We do this by:
-
Holding several social events throughout the year for KLUS bonding, such as Welcome Nights and Group Study & Snacks Sessions.
-
Facilitating a Mentoring Program to connect senior law students with first-year students, who will receive ongoing support and advice in their transition to law school.
-
Hosting career events such as our annual KLUS Legal Careers Forum, collaborations with other law societies to host the Legal Careers in Asia Forum, and more.
